La Jolla Village Merchants Association in collaboration with La Jolla Riford Library is proud to announce a brand new family event that will take place on Sunday, March 13 from 11 am to 2 pm. The event celebrates longer days, the hour of sunlight due to the beginning of daylight savings time. (Daylight savings time officially begins at 2:00 am in the wee hours of March 13.) The family-friendly scavenger hunt will feature sips, snacks and surprises for the whole family including storytime with Ms. Katia, Youth Librarian, La Jolla Riford Library and Ms. Sonia from Warwick’s. Children will have a chance to visit various merchants and locations throughout La Jolla Village in search of clues to solve a simple and timely word game. There will be prizes and treats for all who participate. All ages welcome!
