BIOS

Saqi:
Drawing his name from the Sufi title for mystic muse, saQi is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and educator. As an early pioneer of live-electronic music in the West Coast scene he has continued to innovate and explore new realms of sonic alchemy by fusing elements of American blues, hip-hop, latin, soul and world music with the refined minimalism of European dance genres. Over the years saQi has masterfully crafted his own sovereign sound that is never limited by tempo, genre or any other creative framework. Live sets journey seamlessly from low tempo bass to high energy dance music and everything in between. The show is presented in a multitude of configurations ranging from solo DJ sets to a full live ensemble including horn sections, guitar, vocalists, percussion, keys and strings.

With 6 studio albums released on the independent label Jumpsuit Records saQi has collaborated and performed with an array of prominent artists including The Polish Ambassador, Beats Antique, Emancipator, edIT (of the Glitch Mob), Random Rab, Rising Appalachia, March Fourth Marching Band, Russ Liquid, Bluetech and The Everyone Orchestra. The project has been featured all over the world, from West Coast festivals such as Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle and Symbiosis Gathering, to international dates in Canada, Costa Rica, Germany, Switzerland, India and Bali.

Diamonde:

The multi-faceted vocalist/producer Diamonde draws from a rich musical background to craft refined live-electronic compositions with stunning vocal tapestries on top. Her sound is slow, sultry, sexy and deep. Diamonde weaves lush guitar and piano melodies with progressive, minimal production to create a vibe that is somehow familiar but fresh all the same. Her voice maintains an intoxicating space that draws you into a realm where the dark meets the light; pure to the core with a bit of grit like a diamonde in the rough.

Arula:
Arula is a singer-songwriter, electronic music producer, DJ, creative coach, music mentor & sound healing facilitator. She views music & movement as sacred expressions of a universal language; a language that unites and empowers people from all backgrounds.

As a musician and movement artist she values expression as a path to awakening; a gateway to exploring the different parts of ourselves, the light & the shadow, exploring duality as a path to unity.

Her songs are encoded in prayers for the earth and for humanity. Themes of sacred sensuality, earth reverence, collective healing, soil regeneration, and divine feminine awakening linger in her lyrics. Her work is often inspired by our collective narrative as well as her own personal journey of connecting deeper to one’s truest self by dropping the false stories that we’ve been told; that by releasing our conditioning we step into a greater place of potential & activation.
